Tomorrow will be in stores the capsule collection designed by Tsumori Chisato for Petit Bateau. I just love that tshirt, and it make me think about when something goes out of from the ordinary, from the expected, like those stripes :)

Da domani sarà nei negozi la collezione di Tsumori Chisato per Petit Bateau. Adoro quella tshirt, e mi ha fatto pensare a quando qualcosa va "sopra le righe", fuori dal seminato, dall'ordinario, dal previsto, come quelle righe :)

Lanvin ♥ H&M (the day after)

Yesterday in Milan was finally in H&M stores the capsule Lanvin collection. So much has been written and said during the waiting, many fashion bloggers has even the opportunity to wear some dress in preview.
I really appreciate the challenge of Alber Elbaz, Lanvin art director, who in advertising interview talked about the "panic attack" in trying to create a collection in such a few time, and disposing of different resources than usual.

Ieri a Milano è  finalmente arrivata nei negozi H&M la capsule collection di Lanvin. Così tanto è stato scritto e detto durante l'attesa, molti blogger di moda hanno anche avuto l'opportunità di  indossare alcuni abiti in anteprima.
Ho davvero apprezzato la sfida di Alber Elbaz, direttore artistico di Lanvin, che in un'intervista pubblicitaria ha parlato di "attacco di panico" nel cercare di creare una collezione in così poco tempo, e disponendo di risorse diverse dal solito.

  This Tshirt is my favourite piece of the collection: thinking about one head linked to a pair of legs makes me laugh :)

The cocktail dress in classical "LANVIN YELLOW" in my opinion is the it-dress of the whole collection, it express the style mood.

Il vestito da cocktail nel classico "GIALLO LANVIN" secondo me è l'it-dress attorno a cui gravita tutta la collezione, esprime appieno il mood dello stile.

The collection is sold in just 200 H&M stores in the world. ... My question is...and I don't want to seem a snobbish person, who I'm truly the opposite :), I'm a H&M fan and I love Lanvin style ♥ ... Is people truly enchanted by the great job, the huge creativity which has taken shape and colour, or is somehow just obsessed? Probably both of them ... :) however no one can judge, because everything - from the collection itself, to advertising, to even shopping bags and mannequins - spreads amusements, good mood, fun to dress for a special occasion :) even if it's just a common day.

La collezione è stata venduta in soli 200 negozi H&M nel mondo. ... La mia domanda è ... e non voglio sembrare una persona snob, perchè penso di essere sinceramente l'opposto:), sono una fan di H&M e amo lo stile Lanvin ♥  ... La gente è veramente incantata dal grande lavoro, la creatività enorme che ha preso forma e colore, o è in qualche modo solo ossessionata dall'evento? Probabilmente entrambi... :) Però non si può giudicare, perché tutto - la collezione stessa, la pubblicità, perfino le shopping bag e i manichini - trasmettono divertimento, buonumore, ludicità nel vestirsi per un occasione speciale:) anche se è solo un giorno comune.

To keep in mind this unforgetable collaboration, I think it's important to mention the Lanvin ♥ H&M fashion show which was organized on 18th november 2010 at Pierre Hotel, NY.

Per ricordare questa collaborazione memorabile, penso sia importante menzionare la sfilata Lanvin ♥ H&M che si è tenuta il 18 novembre 2010 al Pierre Hotel, NY.

... Now, let's wait to see what new and beyond suspicious collaborations there will be between ready-to-wear(/buy) and haute couture!

...a questo punto, non resta che aspettare per vedere che nuove e insospettabili collaborazioni si potranno stringere tra pret-a-porter (e pret - cioè pronto - da comprare) e haute couture!

Today Milan seemed to me more about fashion and design.
First of all, I noticed a queue out of Gap, and a ApeCar (looove it) advertising the new opening, the first one in Italy, dispensing free coffee just out of the new store. I wasn't willing to make queue, so I still have to go inside and see with my eyes :)

And second, I haven't notice such a creativity about shop windows (surely that's because Xmas is coming) !Rinascente even has architectural installations, I've just known about architect Chris Bosse, and I already adore him!


Oggi Milano mi è sembrata ancora più vicina al design e alla moda.
Prima di tutto, ho notato la fila fuori da Gap, e un'ApeCar (la amo!) che sponsorizzava la nuova apertura, la prima in Italia, dispensando gratuitamente caffè proprio davanti al negozio. Ero troppo pigra per mettermi in coda perciò devo ancora documentarmi a riguardo :)

E secondo, non avevo ancora notato quanto spirito creativo c'è dietro all'allestimento delle vetrine (sicuramente questo è dato dal periodo prenatalizio)! La Rinascente ha addirittura delle installazioni di architettura e design, in merito ho appena visto il lavoro dell'architetto Chris Bosse, che non conoscevo, ma già lo adoro!
