Could something with a character so strong and apparently univocally identifying live many lives, have a always different personalities?
Obviously it's possible... but what about leopard print? And what about a leopard printed hat?

It's not just about a hat with a leopard print, even if I have to admit that it's something that attracts me, (one day or another I'll get it, just for fun :) ... it's about how it's able to turn from a super chic detail, to a declaration of transgression.

It can be classy and somehow classic, like a vintage piece, lending a diva allure.
On the other side, it can be the most important piece of a rockstar outfit, showing off all its aggressive feature, and seeming always something new.

Or, it can be just for fun, like Moschino interpretation.

Here it is, the chic lady and the edgy rockstar :) ... in one word...like a dandy?


Può qualcosa con un carattere così forte e apparentemente definibile in modo univoco vivere molte vite, avere sempre differenti personalità?
Ovviamente si, ma per quanto riguarda una stampa maculata? E un cappello con stampa maculata?

La cosa non riguarda soltanto un cappello maculato, anche se devo ammettere che è una cosa che mi ha sempre attratto (un giorno o l'altro me ne procurerò uno, giusto per divertimento) ... riguarda invece la sua poliedricità nel poter essere un dettaglio super chic, o invece una dichiarazione di trasgressione.

Può essere di classe e in qualche modo classico, come un pezzo vintage, conferendo un'allure da diva.
O d'altro canto, può diventare il pezzo forte dell'outfit della rockstar, mostrando tutto il suo carattere aggressivo, sembrando sempre qualcosa di molto nuovo.

O può essere un elemento puramente divertente, così come lo ha interpretato Moschino.

Eccole, la signora chic e la avanguardista rockstar. In una parola...dandy?

Dolce & Gabbana showed this trend out during FW 09/10 fashion show,  and The Sartorialist has just photographed a very stylish woman following this ready-to-wear.
They remind something of creative 50s hats and fascinators, but also something like "biker style".

In some way, they can look like a big fringe hat :)

Winter is going to come, and I wonder if I'll find a way too to wear my leather gloves as hat, maybe I should need more than a pair!



Dolce & Gabbana hanno sfoderato questo trend nella collezione AU 09/10, e il blog "The Sartorialist" ha appena postato una fotografia di una stilosa donna che ha seguito questo trend.
Ricorda qualcosa dei cretivissimi cappelli o velette anni 50', ma ha anche qualcosa stile biker.

In qualche modo, può sembrare un copricapo a maxi frange :)

L'inverno sta arrivando, e mi chiedo se mi capiterà di ingegnarmi ad usare i miei guanti di pelle come cappello, magari me ne servirà più di un paio!
