Fall color palette: the peacock feather inspiration

I think that a peacock feather identifies the color palette for this fall 2011, and in particular my current inspiration.

All of these tones are from nature, and the cold ones, like the peacock blue and teal, don't come from a sea or a sky mood, they are mostly from the ground, from minerals.

It seems like touching them, feeling them with hands, they looks vibrant.

They are not flat, they have shades, hues.

Hex nuts addiction - chainmaille bracelet

Currently, I'm just in love with hardware, and in particular hex nuts ... I think that hexagon is a very interesting shape, somehow positive ...

Sculpture wedges

SS 2011: talking about wedges.
They're geometric, sculptural, important,
They're somehow like geta (the japanese sandals), as seen during Kenzo fashion show.
They define a volumetric shape, like in 70s.
They tell a story, as seen in the street, in Paris.
